MIP: Where Technology meets management.  MIP was established in 1979 as a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano - one of the leading technical universities in Europe - and some leading organizations operating in Italy. One of MIP’s great strengths is being part of the Politecnico di Milano, whose engineering tradition and technology leadership allow MIP to have access to up-and-coming technology, to play a key role in innovation and to be at the forefront of company growth and technological investment. MIP’s Extensive Company Collaboration: As a consortium between the Politecnico di Milano, many Italian institutions and several leading public and private industrial groups, MIP enjoys a privileged relationship with its shareholder companies and this has been extended over the years to include foreign multinationals.

The school integrates a typically academic specialist know-how with practical professional elements derived from the world of business and consultancy and this reciprocal relationship allows MIP to remain abreast of companies’ business, training and innovation needs. Indeed, such partnership is evident throughout the MBA program in its real-life business simulations and field experiences and in its regular collaboration with the professional community from which students also derive great benefit and real-world experience. Current partners include: Assolombarda, Bticino, Danieli, Edison, Eni Corporate University, Fiat, Hitachi, IBM, Italcementi, Italtel, Luxottica, Pirelli, Snam, Telecom Italia, Vodafone.

Politecnico di Milano School of Management has just received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for achieving what AMBA describes as the highest standard in Postgraduate Business Education for EMBA and MBA programmes. Espansione Ranking 2014: MIP is ranked number one for company network in the annual business magazine survey conducted amongst recruiters in Italy.• Financial Times European Business School Rankings: School of Management is ranked number 38 and the International Full-time MBA ranked number 38 • The school has been EQUIS accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) since 2007. • Our MBA is accredited by ASFOR: the Italian Association for Management Education Development.
